Dashing Through The Snow. . .

Here's a cute little card I made using the Create A Critter cart and the Snowflakes embossing folder. And for fun, I attached the reindeer using an action wobble that I got from TheScrapbookingQueen! That cute little reindeer rocks back and forth, just like he was dashing through the snow!

The inside of the card reads "to wish you a Merry Christmas!". What fun the action wobbles add! Have you tried them yet?

Holidays Through the Year Iron On!

Another new cart spotted at Joann's! Several people have purchased it already and it's even on ebay! I'm looking for photos of the images and will add them to this post when I find some!

Hebrew Font spotted in CCR

Looks like another new Cricut cart or image set will soon be available! Hebrew Font Classic and Hebrew Font Modern have been spotted in Cricut Craft Room.

Double Fry Box

Bitten by the Bug 2 has a challenge going on this week to use the Fry box from the Art Philosophy cart. While I love the fry box, I done several in the past, I was stumped to come up with something different. And then, I remembered I needed a little "thinking of you" gift for a friend that loves the fresh baked cookies at a local bakery. So I decided to use Cricut Craft Room and place an oval from the Craft Room Basic Shapes image set on the fry box image to create a handle. I cut two fry boxes and ran each one through my Cuttlebug using the flower embossing folder from the Once Upon A Princess set. I then assembled and glued the two boxes back to back. I wrapped a ribbon around them and viola! My little gift box is all ready for some freshly baked cookies that I will pick up tomorrow on my way to drop off the gift!

Music Themed Tag

I made this tag for the Music challenge over on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog. I was feeling crafty and had no particular project to do, so I headed to the FCCB! Their challenges are always fun. I cut the tag from the Very Merry Tags cart. I used CCR to weld 3 of the tag shapes together to get the longer tag. I couldn't find any paper that I had in mind for the project, so I made my own. I used the Rock Princess cart to cut the singer and then used my scissors to give her a pretty dress and shoes. The music notes are from the Create A Critter cart.

Edge to Edge ~ A new Cricut Cart!

Looks like there's another new cart soon to be released! It was spotted in CCR and in the new Joann's ad. The title is Edge to Edge and it appears to be geared towards cardmaking with lots of great background possibilities! Here's a little sneak peak from CCR:

Disney Journaling Cards

I used Mickey and Friends to make 3 x 4 journaling cards for a mini album. I cut my 3 x 4 pieces of patterned paper and then used my Corner Chomper to round the corners. These were easy peasey to make and will be such fun to use!

And this "When Pigs Fly" is for my pig-loving friends on the Circle message board!
