How about two cute little monsters hugging a chocolate heart? I made these in CCR using images from CTMH Artbooking {body}, Craft Room Basics {eye, arms/hands and feet}, Bump in the Night {mouths} and Paper Doll Dress Up {bow}.
Once you cut them out, glue on the details.
Use a glue dot to hold the candy in place.
Fold the arms at the edge of the body toward the center. Use your scissors to cut a small slit in one arm {if you cut it in both, you end up with a butterfly looking thing on the front of your monster} and slip it over the other to make the "hug".
Thanks for stopping by!
These look like the monster valentines that Stampin' Up came out with. So cute!

ReplyDeleteRecently discovered your blog and I love it! I was trying to learn CCR and your directions are SOOOO good. I have finally cut several items and am anxious to continue. These "monsters" are so cute, but probably beyond my limited ability, but I'd sure like to try them. Thanks for your informative blogs.
